About
(This is “About” the blog, not the author. For a biographical sketch see here.)
This blog is a collection of observations about software technology, its evolutions, its challenges and its promises. In recent months it has increasingly included articles about politics and personal history, hence “technology+”.
The blog attempts to run on a weekly basis: a new entry is published every Monday. Sometimes a lighter entry, or a preparation for the next Monday’s article, appears mid-week.
I think of the articles as little essays, which also implies that I go back and edit them to correct mistakes or improve the phrasing. After all, one of the major benefits of working with computer technology is that we can change a text as many times as we like, until we find it right.
Some longer entries are explicitly marked “Essay”.
Occasionally, a post was published before somewhere else; it is then marked with the recycling symbol
.
